Mononoke Inu (Menonoke-Inu) Review: Legit or Scam

Today I’m going to be reviewing one of the rising  memetoken in ”crypto town”. Few have called it a hidden gem, many still have their doubts about it, while millions do not even know about this token.

If you are new to this website or my writing. I review coins and tokens with clarity, in a tone the everyday people understand. The intention of this website is not to promote or disparage any token. But to assist people differentiate between the safe and the unsafe ones. Many people have fallen into scams, that have made them lose everything. I try to help people prevent that with my reviews.

I usually start my token reviews by listing out the things I checked, as regards the token I’m reviewing. These things are usually,

The Website

The White paper

The Liquidity pool

The Market Cap

The Developers of the token

What people are saying about the token on the various websites.

But before I do that, let me tell you a little about the token I am about to review. According to coin marketcap.com

Mononoke Inu

“Mononoke (モノノ怪) is a Japanese avant-garde anime television series produced by Toei Animation. A spin-off of 2006’s horror anthology series Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales, Mononoke follows the character of the medicine seller as he continues to face a myriad of supernatural perils. Mononoke takes place between the end of the Edo period and Meiji Era of Japan with the four class system, Samurai being the highest class and merchants (such as the medicine seller himself) being in the lowest class. Only Samurai were permitted to carry swords, which is why it comes as a shock to many of the characters that the medicine seller would be carrying a sword.

In addition, This is what Coingecko.com wrote about the token

“Mononoke-Inu is the newest addition of anime tokens on the Ethereum Blockchain. Launched as a stealth launch with a upcoming 2d game integrated on the Ethereum Blockchain in the near future. Run by the dev team and community alike!

My Personal opinion of  Mononoke Inu’s history

This memecoin is clearly developed by a Japanese developers. I like the historical context. I admit, I am biased because I like manga and Japan. The plan is not only to build a community, for community building sake.  They also plan to launch a 2d game, which gives the token a real world use case.

Monomoke Inu’s Website

The Mononoke Inu website is stylish. There aren’t many better crypto websites like it, out there. I have noticed meme coins usuallly have average looking websites.  Seeing token websites like  BuffedShiba and Mononoke inu, look the way they do, is a welcome development.  Mononoke Inu’s website was clearly done by a professional.

Going through the words on the Mononoke Inu’s website. You’d realise quickly, that Monoke Inu is an etheruem based token. This is a green flag for me. As a reviewer, I have noticed most most useless tokens are based off on the binance smart chain. Hardly do you ever see an unworthy project on Ethereum. Onward.

I sort of got a little confused about the characterization in the website.

In the above image, they introduced a character called Moro and stopped there. Is Moro the name of the 2D game character? They didn’t say.

They then went on to introduce what they were about.

Tokenomic.

Holders get rewarded 1%  by Simply holding Mononoke-Inu.  This makes  you earn more Mononoke-Inu passively!

5% is dedicated to Marketing So the world hears about the best community on the ethereum blockchain.

4%  is dedicated to General Development

All costs regarding project development

Burning Mechanism

Mononoke Inu is burnt when  supply reaches a specific milestones.
Additionally, 4% of the 1% Redistribution tax gets burned with every transaction. Currently 4% of max supply is burned.

They didn’t make clear what the “specific milestone” are. This is a red flag to me.

Let’s move on to the white paper.

White Paper

The white paper begins with a disclaimer. Where the team announces  they’d be updating the info on the whitepaper periodically as the project progresses.

This review saved our readers millions of dollas

Goal

The white paper admits that their initial goal was just to create a token, which brought unity back to Defi and rebuild the lack of trust between teams and their communities. But, with the success  of the community, they decided to give the token utility by creating a 2D game, blockchain based game.

They went to talk about the game. You can download the white paper here

Personally, I like the simplicity of the whitepaper. It is detailed,  no fluff. They aren’t telling you, how they are going to change the world with charity to wolves, hyenas, and every member of the dog family, like many meme token out there. They recognise their objectives as a token that has a growing community of believers.

Liquidity Pool and Market Cap

The liquidity pool of Mononoke Inu growing as at the time of writing. With approximately 50% locked in Uniswap, which is worth $1,502,124 . For a coin that just launched a couple of months ago, these are  impressive numbers. The chances creators of this token will steal your investment has been reduced greatly. I especially, like the fact that there’s a link embedded on the their website where you can check their liquidity. This shows that they are confident and are not hiding anything from you.

The market cap is about $265,600,000  and growing. This is a giant figure  market cap, for a token that got launched. Green flag here.

The total supply of the token is 1 Quintillion. For context, 1, 000,000,000,000,000,000. This is a crazy supply number in my opinion.  There’s however a burn mechanism put in place to reduce mononoke inu’s supply progressively from period to period. This ought to make it more valuable as time go by.

The token has about 46,133 holders. This is super healthy, as it indicate the community is growing and you are still in the early stage.

Developers behind Mononoke Inu token.

Unsurprisingly, developers of   have chosen to be anonymous. This is not a shock to me because, many of these memecoins devs for reasons best known to them just like being anonymous . I hate to say it, but this is a red flag. If you follow my writing, you’d know I love a project with a face or two faces. But, we can argue that the developers behind Shiba Inu are faceless. The mononoke in team represent themselves by placing three images with fake names. The fact they aren’t properly doxxed is red flag.

What people are saying about mononoke in token

On twitter, The mononoke inu has about 25k followers. This is a good number, as it joined twitter in october.   Their account have tweeted a total number of 223 times (as at the time of writing).

Many followers seem excited about the token.

On  telegram, they have 2.4k+ people in the group. People aren’t allowed to express themselves. This indicate to me that, they started a new telegram group because, their seeming popularity demands a higher number of subscribers. If my suspicious are correct and they did start a new group? Something definitely went wrong. This is a red flag.

On Disqus. There seem to be a clash of Optimists and ‘fudders’.

On YouTube, there is a big excitement around the coin. People have hope that mononoke inu token ($MONONOKE-INU) will make them money.

Conclusion

MONONOKE-INU is growing at a fast rate. The team give you a honest energy, from the whitepaper. You can tell they aren’t trying to confuse you with nonsense. They have a good plan and an achievable objective, whether they’ll stick with it, is anybody’s guess. If you are willing to risk it and invest, make sure you confirm the time frame of the liquidity lock. One thing I’m sure is that many people will invest in this project as they are realizing the potentials of memecoins with strong communities. What I however don’t like about the token is the fact the developers are not doxxed. For me, It’s the biggest red flag among the red flags I highlighted.
